It is possible to hold a funeral ceremony in many different locations. It does not have to be held in a church, chapel or cemetery.
It can be held with or without the body, depending on the circumstances.
A ceremony to celebrate someone's life can be held in their own garden, at a home, in a public park, almost anywhere as long as you obtain permission from the relevant person.
There is a consideration of public and private.
