Shrouds

Some people like to be cosy. You can wrap a body in a fabric, so it feels cared for and held.

Especially when children die it can be very comforting to wrap them in a doona (duvet) with a suitable design and with a favourite toy, so the last image is soft and snuggly.

In the old way, shrouds are also a way of holding the body, and it is hoped that eventually bodies will be able to be buried without a box, just in cloth so that everything decomposes more quickly.

A range of shrouds will be offered, and there will be the opportunity to personally design and create a shroud yourself with the guidance of an artist/designer.
